Zhuhai Jinwan Art Center

Zhuhai Jinwan Art Center is situated at the heart of Jinwan Aviation New City and was designed by the globally acclaimed Zaha Hadid Architects. The overall design, resembling a butterfly poised for flight, earned it recognition from the media as one of the ‘Most Anticipated Projects of 2023’. As a landmark cultural facility and a key public cultural service venue in Zhuhai, the centre comprises four distinct venues, including a 1207-seat Grand Theatre, a 470-seat Multi-function Hall, an Art Museum, and the X Space. These venues are interconnected via a central plaza and elevated walkways, allowing dynamic performances and static exhibitions to remain independent yet functionally complementary. This integration creates a new type of arts complex that blends performance and exhibition, encourages cross-disciplinary diversity, and offers boundless possibilities.
