Zhongshan

Located in the central-southern part of the Pearl River Delta, Zhongshan is the hometown of Dr Sun Yat-sen. The city boasts a profound cultural heritage, with numerous historic relics and buildings, and national Intangible Cultural Heritage such as the Saltwater Songs and the Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Feast. It has been officially designated as one of the ‘National Historical and Cultural Cities’ as well as one of the ‘Top Tourist Cities of China’. It has actively collaborated with other cities in the Greater Bay Area to host cultural and artistic events to promote cultural exchange.
